Meet Our Team
Jeff joined his father at Williamson-Baughman Insurance in 1992 after a 20-year career witk Kroger. He graduated from Ohio University in 1975 with a major in business management and a minor in economics. During his time with Kroger, he worked in Muskingum, Athens, Ross, Morgan, Fairfield, and Pike counties. Upon joining Williamson-Baughman, the agency changed its name to Williamson Insurance.
He is active in Lions Club, John Glenn Umbrella Boosters, and attends the New Hope Church. He live and works with his wife, Connie.
Connie started working with the agency part-time while being a stay-at-home Mom taking care of their three busy and active children when they were attending East Muskingum Schools. After Jeff’s parents retired from the business, Connie became more involved in the agency by taking on the responsibilities of accounting and human resources. She also organizes events for both the Newark and Zanesville offices during Customer Service Week, Heart Healthy Month, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Connie met Jeff on a blind date in Athens, Ohio, and they have been married since 1978. They love to travel and enjoy their annual beach vacation with their kids and five grandchildren! Connie also attends church where she volunteers in the nursery and pre-school areas. When time permits, she loves to read and work on her flower containers.
Ryan (R.T.) McKinnon has been with Williamson Insurance as a licensed agent since February of 2010. Graduating from Muskingum College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, he worked as a substitute teacher and high school coach before joining our staff. Ryan received his property and casualty license in 2008 with his life and health license following in 2013. He also holds a Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation with the AIMS society.
Since joining our staff, Ryan’s main focus has been on commercial and life insurance. He has had the opportunity to work with many business owners to develop a comprehensive insurance plan that fits and protects their company’s needs.
Ryan has been married to his wife, Jessi, since 2012 and currently resides in Pataskala with their daughter Kami and dog, Daisy. Ryan was born and raised in New Concord where he attended John Glenn High School. He is actively involved with his church and is an avid Ohio State and Cincinnati Reds fan. He enjoys the time he devotes to his friends and family and loves being a Dad.
Stephanie has been with Williamson Insurance since June of 1992. She spent her first 22 years with the agency in personal lines Insurance before moving to the commercial department in 2015. In 2010, she earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation by completing the rigorous education program through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. The program includes five institutes with comprehensive written exams focusing on all major fields of insurance, insurance management and agency operations.
Stephanie is very active in her church and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Darrin.
Michelle has been with Williamson Insurance since September of 2002. She began originally as an exclusive life and health insurance specialist and has since branched out into personal lines as well. She holds three industry designations which include Certified School Risk Manager, Certified Professional Insurance Agent, and Certified Insurance Service Representative. Michelle enjoys involvement in her children’s extracurricular actives and time with her family and pets. She is passionate about music and photography.
Brenda has been with Williamson Insurance since December of 1998 where she originally filled the role as a customer service representative at the reception desk. For many years, she developed a close relationship with our clients and eventually moved into the position of full-time account manager. In March of 2013, Brenda became licensed as a property & casualty agent. She continues to work in the Personal Lines Customer Care Department.
Outside the office, Brenda enjoys her free time with her husband, Ed. She grew up on a small farm in Athens County which means much of her weekends are spent between Athens and Grove City, where she enjoys time with her son Heath, daughter-in-law Jenni and her 3 grandchildren.
Jessica has been with Williamson Insurance since October of 2011. She is a licensed personal lines account manager with the company where her role consists of reviewing home and auto policies for current clients and taking new customers to the agency. Jessica expanded her role in 2017 with the completion of her life & health insurance licensing.
Jessica and her husband Mike enjoy their time together camping, hunting and fishing.
Emily came to Williamson Insurance in August of 2014 and has been a licensed and experienced insurance agent since 2010. She serves as a producer and account manager in the agency specializing in personal lines and life insurance. Emily is very passionate about her job and has been recognized with a Silver Key Award from Pekin Life Insurance. Not only is she enthusiastic about her work, she is also dedicated to her husband, Weston, and daughter, Aleah. Her free time is spent in the company of family and friends making memories.
Nicole is a native of Malta, Ohio graduating from Morgan High School in 1998. Upon leaving high school, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services from Ohio University in 2003.
She started her career in the insurance industry when she came to Williamson Insurance in July of 2004. In May of 2005, she became a licensed agent in personal lines property and casualty insurance with a license in life & health insurance following in 2012. Nicole currently resides in Zanesville with her husband Jonathan, 2 children Brock and Anna, and 2 dogs Gracie and Rocko. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys being outside and cooking.
Lori has been with Williamson Insurance since August of 2010. She started as a frontline customer service representative at the reception desk and is now a licensed agent working in multiple aspects of customer service. She attended Zane State with an interest in the paralegal profession and then transferred to Ohio University where she worked towards a bachelor’s in business.
Lori enjoys doing interior design and has completed several such projects for friends and family. She has a love for landscaping and gardening and finds it very relaxing as well as spending time with her grandsons, Blade and Bentley.
Lacey has been with Williamson Insurance since May 2016 where her position has been that of frontline Customer Service Representative. Lacey graduated from West Muskingum High School in 2006, then went on to attended Zane State College to obtain a degree in Business. Prior to starting her career with Williamson Insurance, she worked in banking for 8 years. She enjoys working with people and is always willing to help others.
In her free time, she can be found having fun with her husband, Casey, and their son, Jayce. She loves outdoor activities such as fishing and camping and also loves spending time with family and friends.
George began his career with Williamson Insurance in July of 1995. Since then, he has worked in several capacities with his most recent role as that of Agency Development, Marketing Specialist and Systems Administrator. He attended Ohio University at the Zanesville campus and holds a Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation with the AIMS society. In September of 2015, George became a committee member for an agency software developer where he serves to coordinate regional and national meetings and participates in focus groups that provide input on future system features and functionality.
Along with his wife, Kelly, George is active in the performing arts scene in Zanesville as a performer and musician and has volunteered his time as a member of the Board of Directors with local theater group, Zane Trace Players.
Jason has been with the company since 2005. He is the 4th generation in his family to work at the agency and enjoys being a part of the family business. Jason graduated in 2008 from Ohio University with a degree of Specialized Studies in Business and Communication. In 2007, as Jason drew near to graduating college, he obtained his property & casualty insurance license and started writing and servicing personal lines accounts in the Zanesville office. Additionally, he received his life and health license in 2009. That same year, Williamson Insurance opened a second branch in Newark and Jason took on the role of office manager of that location. In addition to that position, he also specializes in writing mid to large commercial accounts.
Jason has been happily married since 2008 and is the father of three. Outside of spending time with his family, Jason is actively involved with his church, helping out with the youth ministry and music ministry on a regular basis.
Chad has been with Williamson Insurance since April of 2009. Graduating from Ohio University in Athens with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, he worked for three years after college as Marketing Director/New Business Development Specialist for Goodwill Industries, Inc. before joining our staff. Chad became property & casualty and life & health licensed in the summer of 2009 and worked as a producer at our Zanesville location for one year before moving to the Newark office to take on the role as Producer/Assistant Manager.
Since moving to Newark, Chad’s focus has primarily been in commercial insurance and life products and has had the opportunity to work with business owners of both large and small companies in the local area on developing a comprehensive insurance plan to protect their business’s individual needs. Chad also works heavily with agency marketing, specifically in the area of graphic design for the organization.
Chad has been married to his wife, Kylee, since 2009 and they have a daughter and son together. Chad was born and raised in Zanesville and currently resides there with his family there. Besides spending time with his family, Chad is actively involved with his church, is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan, and enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.
Kaid joined the Williamson Insurance Group as a Commercial Account Manager in our Newark Office in May 2016. He has been working in a support capacity with our commercial producers and carriers to provide service to current commercial accounts and is presently in the process of transitioning into the producer role. In his time with Williamson Insurance, Kaid has become licensed in Property & Casualty insurance as well as Life & Health.
Kaid enters the insurance industry from a background in which he worked as the Assistant Groundskeeper for the Greensboro Grasshoppers, a Miami Marlins Minor League Baseball affiliate. He spent 8 years in North Carolina with the team.
Kaid has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from Muskingum University. He has been married to his wife, Kortney since September 2013 and they are the proud parents of two dogs, Enzo and Pebbles. He is also the proud uncle of eight nieces and nephews and the youngest of 4 children.
James joined Williamson Insurance Group as the Commercial Account Manager at the Newark Office in 2017. He supports the commercial producers and carriers to provide service to current and future business insurance accounts and holds a license in property & casualty insurance.
James is a 20-year U.S. Army retiree who spent most of his time with the Army Recruiting Command. He served as a Recruiter, Station Commander, and a Master Trainer.
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Amy, and together they have three amazing children. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoys music, coffee, skiing, fishing, and peaceful rides on his motorcycle. He is involved with his church as part of the security team, youth bible study teacher, and youth leadership.
Laura has been with the Williamson Insurance since October 2011. She graduated from Canal Winchester High School and after that worked for AT&T as a Small Business Specialist and then Customer Service at Verizon Wireless before joining our staff. Laura became a personal lines producer when she was property & casualty licensed in February of 2012. She later became a Public Notary and life & health licensed in September 2016.
Laura moved to the Licking County area in 2007 where she and her husband live with their many pets on their hobby farm. When she is not working, she loves being outside and planting in her flower beds. She loves to travel as well as exploring and uncovering stories in her family tree.
Tina has been with the independent insurance agency channel since 1991 and with Williamson Insurance since March of 2009. Currently, she handles personal lines property and casualty insurance as well as the personal lines claims for our Newark agency.
Tina has been married to her husband, Tim, since 1988. They have two children together, a daughter and son, as well as a grandson. Tina was born and raised in Zanesville and has family and connections in Newark. She and Tim live on 20 acres in Hopewell where she enjoys spending time with family. She is also an active member of her church and loves gardening and canning.
Pam started her career in the insurance industry in 1973 as a home office claims clerk for Citizens Mutual Insurance in Howell, Michigan. She worked there until moving to Chattanooga, TN in 1978 where soon after, Pam took some time off to raise her two children, Karen & Floyd. She went back to work in 2002 and has been with the Williamson Insurance in Newark since March of 2009. There she works the front desk answering phone calls, taking payments and making changes for clients. If you call or come in, she is usually the first pleasant voice that you will hear. Her co-workers think that she has a Michigan accent so be sure to listen for that when you call.
Pam lives in St. Louisville with her dog Daisy. Her daughter and son-in-law live next door with 4 of her grandchildren. She enjoys spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens with her grandchildren and going back to Michigan to visit family. Pam is an active member of Brushy Fork Methodist Church.
Meranda has been with Williamson Insurance since February of 2016. She is responsible for maintaining current client accounts in our Newark agency. As an Account Retention specialist, she re-quotes customer policies in times of a rate increase or if the client simply is not happy with their current rate. She takes great pride in making sure our clients have the best rate available to them. Meranda also fills in at the front desk greeting customers, taking payments and answering phone calls. She is a graduate of Newark High School and obtained her Ohio insurance license for in 2016.
